Arguably the worst experience I have ever encountered..Valentines day sure not the best place to be but came to the Hyper to check up on prices on goods and liquor which I as a caterer have to supply at a wedding function.(R25000-R30000)The diner was cold and virtually empty..tha cashier was having breakfast at one of the tables, some of the other available tables were soiled with plates etc and not cleaned ..debris (chips )was on the floor and very little attentive activity visible...the staff were huddled up at the kitchen area in discussion,patrons were leaving which made me the sole visitor. My wife had gone off in search of a toilet and shortly joined me. She said the toilets were dirty, some of the taps were not working and found another shopper there which openly voiced her disgust.I ordered the 2X breakfast(two eggs toast sausage and two rashers of bacon) and juice and additional plate of chips.The food arrived .my sausage was almost incinerated the outer skin in tatters and totally overcooked.The toast was flat like a marie biscuit.I called the waiter Kgomotso,asked him where the chips were and pointed out the sausage.He was embarressed and said he would bring me another right away.He came back with another acceptable sausage and a plate of raw chips.I told him that this was the pits ,asked for the account and walked over to the cashier.I told her that was the worst experience ever She said it was not their fault since the toaster was broken and they are not going to fix it because the department was closing soon.The nonchalant /cavalier attitude is reprehensible as was the food..I am utterly disgusted what a disgrace TE BARNARDT 083 707 3000 011 4782443
