Emotional Resilience Workshop

Emotional Resilience - Course Overview Emotional Resilience is an essential skill that allows people to deal with pressurising situations at work by giving them the tools to reduce their stress levels. Work-related stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 11.3 million lost working days, this on average is 23 days per case. South Wales Cyber Security Cluster Meeting November 2018

The Cluster visited the Swansea TechHub back in 2015 when they were based in Wind Street and since then they have gone from strength to strength. We are delighted to be returning to visit them again at their incredible new building in the regenerated Urban Village in Swansea for a long overdue session. The TechHub Programme is designed to support organisations in addressing challenges at different points of their startup’s evolution.  It supports member startups from diverse sectors and at different stages of development (early, growth and scale-up) and they host over 200 events a year at each TechHub location. They create regular opportunities for organisations to engage with the topics most relevant to their startup's development and help to source the right knowledge, advice and opportunities from peers and experts both within and outside the TechHub community. We will hear from Jen Clay, the CEO about how the Programme has grown and evolved and then we will be treated to a guided tour of the building by Sarah Fogel, the Events Manager. One organisation, also a Cluster member, has proactively supported the TechHub from day one and that is the DVLA.  They also spoke to the Cluster the last time we visited and we are lucky enough to have Dave Betts, their Lead Cyber Security Consultant along to talk about the sheer scale of the DVLA's operations and cyber challenges they face. On top of all that... we will be visiting Swansea again and touching base with firends, colleagues and potential new contacts from West Wales - perffaith! See you all there!
