Meditation Half-day Course in Wisbech - October 2018

Living Life Lightly  We generally relate to ourselves in a limited, fixed and ordinary way. This often stops us realising our potential. In this course we look at alternative approaches based on ancient Buddhist wisdom. Each session will include guided meditations to help us to develop lighter and more flexible minds. General information Everyone is welcome to attend and no experience of meditation is needed. The course comprises two one-hour sessions with a coffee/tea break with a chance to ask questions and browse our book shop. Discover the power of meditation. Learn how reduce depression, anxiety, worry, stress and tension. And how to increase self-esteem, confidence, and inner good qualities. Meditation helps us to relax, find inner peace and be happier. Mental and physical well-being is improved as well as gaining a more positive outlook on life and better relationships. The course will be taught by experienced meditation teacher, Dave Chambers. Seating is on chairs and no special clothing is required. The room has full disabled access via a lift.

You couldn't make it up; surely the German Comedy Ambassador Henning Wehn hasn't bosched out yet another new show? And what's he still doing here anyway? Well, his lack of transferable skills is what keeps him here and his belief that practise makes perfect is what keeps him going. This show is a much needed call to arms. Listen, everyone: stop pondering and hand-wringing. Instead get on your bike and put your face to the grindstone! Henning's most recent television and radio appearances include "Live At The Apollo" BBC2, "Have I Got News For You" BBC1, "Would I Lie To You" BBC1, "Fighting Talk" BBC Radio 5 Live and "The Unbelievable Truth" BBC Radio 4.
