The NorthConnect Meet the Buyer day will allow potential supply chain organisations from Tier 1 contractors to SME's and micro businesses the chance to learn about the project, hear about the different packages involved and speak to the team directly and an opportunity for 1-2-1 for contracts involving the converter station, enabling works, cable laying, construction management, civils, engineering and supervision as well as peripheral economic opportunites locally. Please book a ticket for the 'Main Presentation'. Then, you can also book a 10 minute slot with a specific package manager now, or you can wait until you're there on the day and book up using the time slot sheets which will be made available.  During the 1-2-1 sessions in the afternoon there will be the opportunity to network over coffee with other organistaions interested in the project.

The Property Hub Meetup is a FREE monthly event, and it’s open to everyone – from the greenest newbies to the grizzliest tycoons! This isn’t a traditional networking event. There are no sales pitches or “upsells” – it’s just a relaxed and informal get-together of likeminded people, with a friendlier and more supportive atmosphere than we’ve found at any other event. Meetups are held on the first Thursday of every month, and they’re completely free to attend. All we ask is that you register in advance. Scott Wilson looks forward to welcoming you. Also if you aren't already a member of The Property Hub, become a member for FREE today at www.thepropertyhub.net

QMS Better Grazing (Inverurie) - The FUNdamentals of Grazing for Growth

Grass is a relatively easy crop to grow, but much harder crop to manage well. We know that getting it right can yield financial and performance benefits. But there’s no single recipe for good grazing management. Having a good grasp of the fundamentals; the ‘nuts and bolts’ of pasture and how it responds to grazing is a big help when implementing and managing a good grazing system.  We'll hear from SAC Consulting's Poppy Frater who'll cover the fundamentals of grass growth and grazing management. We’ll also visit group member Murray Cooper’s farm nearby.  Murray is in the process of setting up a rotational grazing system. The visit will give us a chance to see first-hand and discuss the practicalities of managing grazing to maximise growth, quality and availability.  No doubt dealing with the late spring growth surge will be discussed!  Please remember clean kit and disinfectable footwear for the farm visit.
