Marketing in the Real World

Marketing in the ‘Real World’ – How to ensure your efforts are fully rewarded What level is this course? This course is aimed at small business owners or those responsible for sales andmarketing that may be new to the role or feel that they are missing something! Overview: What is Marketing? It’s not just about Facebook ‘likes’ and Twitter ‘followers’, it’s the focused effort on the promotion and selling of your products and services. If your marketing talks about you, your company, your services and what you do, then you have a big problem... You should be talking about your clients, their problems, their opportunities and how they will benefit? Most businesses do not understand the real motivation behind their customer buying habits, and can’tanswer this question: ‘Why should I do business with you rather than all the other options available to me.’ At the end of this session you will walk away with:1. The focussed actions you need to take to improve the marketing of your business… activities fully aligned to moving your business forward…. not just a list of ‘extra stuff to do’.2. Knowledge on how to track your performance, so you can stop inefficient marketing activity… and potentially save money and time.3. An understanding of the additional support available. Marketing is not just about your ‘digital footprint’. Join us for this interactive one day workshop and find out where to focus your efforts for the maximum return. Please note in order to obtain access to the pre-course training materials and/or confirm your enrolment on this course further registration paperwork is required for funding purposes and you will be contacted by Green Labyrinth prior to the course for this purpose.

Prospecting & New Business Development

Prospecting & New Business Development What level is this course? This course is aimed at small business owners or those responsible for sales and marketing that may be new to the role or feel that they are missing something! Overview: Customer acquisition is rated as the biggest challenge for most businesses… Consider this: It is 6-7 times more expensive to acquire a new customer than to keep a current one. 91% of customers say they would give referrals…only 11% of sales people ask for them. Your business spends considerable time, effort (and expense) attracting new clients. Did you know that onaverage a business like yours will lose 15-20% of their clients each year. What’s more, 82% of clientrelationships breakdown due to unresolved issues and a perceived lack of interest on the part of thesupplier. At the end of this session you will walk away with:1. An action plan to focus your sales / business development activities which is directly aligned to your overall business goals.2. Knowledge on how to track your performance, so you can stop inefficient sales activity… delivering greater return for a lot less effort.3. An understanding of the additional support available. Current activities not delivering the results you need? Join us for this interactive one day workshop andfind out where to focus your efforts for the maximum return. Please note in order to obtain access to the pre-course training materials and/or confirm your enrolment on this course further registration paperwork is required for funding purposes and you will be contacted by Green Labyrinth prior to the course for this purpose.

Shakespeare’s 'As You Like It' performance and dinner package, 30th June

Enjoy a fantastic value theatre and dinner package. Performed in the stunning Walled Garden of Coleshill Organics.(www.coleshillorganics.co.uk) Enjoy a cold beer or even a cocktail, soak in the view of the rolling Oxfordshire hills and enjoy Shakespeare at its best. The Performance ‘I like this place and willingly could waste my time in it’ Sun & Moon Theatre’s latest open-air production is an uplifting, wondrous adaptation of Shakespeare’s As You Like It. Within the confines of the corporate, tech-obsessed world of the Court, the present is grinding, life is passing by and the future feels bleak. But when Rosalind is abruptly dismissed by her uncle, rather than despair, she and her cousin Celia seize the opportunity for a fresh start, assuming new identities and embracing the liberty and joy of the Forest of Arden. Those who venture to the Forest find rejuvenation in this bohemian world, free of the hardships of their former lives. They experience love, transformation and the delight of empowerment, switching off, and ‘wasting’ time. Fuelled by live music, sharp wit and the giddiness of falling in love, this jubilant ensemble production of As You Like It serves as a reminder to do what you love, abandon stress and remember how to live! The Meal The play will start at 6.30. Enjoy the show and then there is just time for a post-performace drink before settling down to your meal prepared by the award winning chef Barny Haughton, Founder of The Square Food Foundation, a registered charity. Square Food offers life-changing cookery courses and classes that promise to inform, encourage and inspire your approach to cooking. Every penny they raise goes towards supporting their work with schools and community groups. Square Food has trading and food education links with many local & organic retailers, growers and farmers and it sources its ingredients with care and integrity. Your 3 course meal will be seasonal and celebrate the best of fresh fruits and vegetables, as you would expect in an organic garden. Square Food menus reflect the best produce of any given month and show what the land, both cultivated and wild and the sea and the people who look after them are really up to. “Every Square Food Foundation event aims to deliver brilliant food and give you a great and memorable experience. Each event is also backed up by serious food education principles. This is why we involve our students - of all ages and all walks of life event – in the planning and delivery of our events. And it’s why we focus not just on the idea of seasonal and sustainable but the realities and the challenges of them too” Barny Haughton This event is run in conjunction with the National Trust Coleshill Big Picnic and Food Festival.
