Registers A-Z // Ayr workshop

Registers of Scotland is an organisation with centuries of history, but a 21ct century mandate to be an effective digital asset for Scotland. We are achieving this through the delivery of both effective land registration and the creation and delivery of innovative new services.  This autumn, Registers of Scotland are touring the country, from Ayr to Zetland (the RoS county designation for Shetland), speaking to you, our customers about the changes within our organisation and the practical ways in which we can work with you to make land registration faster, cheaper and more accessible. Join us at our Ayr workshop on 17 October to hear from the experts in land and property information, Registers of Scotland. The workshop offers an opportunity to meet the new Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, Jennifer Henderson, hear an overview of our registration processes, discuss how we are tackling the arrear and see how our new products and services can benefit you and your business. We are also delighted to be joined by the President of the Law Society of Scotland, Alison Atack, who will provide an update on the legal services review and Anti-money Laundering compliance, as well as an overview of the current work of the Property Law Committee.

Jenny Stark, Coast’s Marine Outreach Officer, will give an illustrated talk on Coast’s remarkable achievements and how living in West Kilbride we can benefit from and support their work.  COAST is recognised throughout Scotland and internationally as a dynamic community group that leads the way on marine conservation and restoration, and as a hub for marine science in the Clyde.
