Henning Wehn: Get On With It

Henning Wehn is back at the De La Warr Pavilion in November 2018 with brand new show! You couldn't make it up; surely the German Comedy Ambassador Henning Wehn hasn't bosched out yet another new show? And what's he still doing here anyway? Well, his lack of transferable skills is what keeps him here and his belief that practise makes perfect is what keeps him going. This show is a much needed call to arms. Listen, everyone: stop pondering and hand-wringing. Instead get on your bike and put your face to the grindstone! Henning's most recent television and radio appearances include "Live At The Apollo" BBC2, "Have I Got News For You" BBC1, "Would I Lie To You" BBC1, "Fighting Talk" BBC Radio 5 Live and "The Unbelievable Truth" BBC Radio 4.

Hands On Lamb Butchery Day

This hands on Lamb Butchery Day is open to all, from complete beginers to smallholders and even chefs looking to add value to their products. This course is very popular and early booking is strongly advised. Under the guidance of our butchery tutor you'll learn where the different cuts come from and how to break down the carcass.  Using various knife skills you'll be shown how to bone and roll joints to make showcasing cuts such as guard of honour and lamb cushion.  There'll be opportunity to practice butchers knots to refine presentation and hone your skills. Once the meat is cut up, it is processed into products such as Merguez sausages, lamb ham, and pate. The course offers exceptional value as you get to pack up and take home all the meat you have butchered including your batch of sausages.  There are just 4 butchery places available on this course, as well as 4 observer places.  The observers are a great way of having a friend or family member join you to help with packing or sausage mixing, or even as an extra pair of hands during the day.

Dorchester Monthly Mixer

Fobo – Singles Saturdays organises over 300 free singles mixers across the UK every month. So how does the concept work ? Its simple, either we choose or members suggest a suitable venue for a free monthly singles mixer in your local areea and the event is promoted here on Eventbrite, on the free Fobo app and on Facebook. The aim of the concept is simple, increase the number of singles in local venues at specific times. With a higher than normal number of singles at a Fobo mixer it gives people a better than average chance of meeting someone single in a safer, more natural environment. Are mixers only open to single people ? No. The mixers are open to everyone so if you would like to bring your bestie who isn't single as a wing they are welcome to attend. Is there space set aside in the venue ? On some occasions yes. So how will I know who’s single ? You can either browse through the singles in the Fobo app, get to know them through the posts in the Singles Saturdays Facebook groups or you can do it the traditional way and start a face to face conversation. Can I organise my own mixer ? Yes absolutely ! If you would like to organise any kind of event that will enable people to expand their offline singles network of friends and opportunities we would love to hear from you. Members can also organise men only or women only events to expand their single friends netork. Other mixers you might like to organise can include speed dating, karaoke, comedy nights, crazy golf, a pub crawl, a kids picnic, coffee mornings or any number of other events. Anything you would like us to arrange and promote to the Fobo singles network we are happy help you with. Will Fobo charge us any commissions or take any fees ? No. The only fees that will be deducted from an event are the fees charged by Eventbrite which you can choose to pass on to those attending your event. If you would like to organise a mixer please email : [email protected] And remember everything Pof, Tinder and Match charge you for is free on Fobo. Thank you.
