Yoga and SUP Day (Stand Up Paddle Boarding)

Activate Your Life Force is a series of Yoga and Adventure days happening throughout the summer.  These days will be based in the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere   Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Yoga day on Saturday the 28th July at a stunning coastal venue near Ballantrae, Ayrshire.  Beginning the day with an uplifting shore-side yoga practice open to all levels, using breath, movement and techniques to wake up our core strength and prepare to balance our boards out on the waters (tepee available for inclement weather). We find balance within before we head on out to connect more deeply enlivening waves and tides of the Atlantic Ocean, (wet-suits provided).  The coasteering will be led by our highly experienced water guide Chris Saunders who will pitch the activity to suit all levels. You will come away with a great sense of achievement and a deeper understanding of the effects water and adventure have on our life force.  A healthy lunch is provided, followed by a guided relaxation with the oceanic sounds of nature surrounding us to journey inward once again and reflect upon and truly feel your awakened life force.  After lunch we'll explore a gentle yoga flow, embodying the qualities of the element of water as we nurture our supple, fluid musculature stepping further into our flow.  We'll finish with an interactive coaching workshop emphasising how the take-home experiences of your adventure and yoga day can be applied to every-day life, keeping your creative life force activated! £70 per person for the day including lunch.

The Adventures Of Doctor Dolittle: Illyria Theatre (Over 5s)

THE ADVENTURES OF DOCTOR DOLITTLE by Hugh Lofting When Doctor John Dolittle of Puddleby-on-the-Marsh is taught by his wise old parrot Polynesia how to talk to animals, news of his skills spreads far and wide. Soon animals across the world send messages asking for his help. So, he buys a leaky old ship and, together with his trusty pet-crew of Jip the dog, Chee-Chee the monkey, Dab-Dab the Duck and permanently hungry Gub-Gub the pig, sets forth on a mission to heal illness, spread compassion and gain a greater understanding of the animal kingdom. A funny, much-loved and exciting adventure, with a strong message about responsibility towards animals and the environment, this show is created by the same Illyria team who brought you an entire menagerie of animal puppets in DANNY THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD and a life-size T-Rex in THE LOST WORLD. The show is suitable for cheeky monkeys aged 5+.
