It is open to all individuals working in local business, people looking to start-up a company or those hoping to secure employment in the region. It is a welcoming stage for you to chat to others about what you can offer, discuss ways to collaborate or talk about local business in general.The bi-monthly event is a great place to share ideas and learn from others - being a theatre, we love to see people perform together. Getting ready for GDPR workshop An informative and practical workshop that explains the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and what it means for your business. GDPR will come into force across Europe on 25 May 2018. As a small business, there will be changes you need to make to the way you handle personal information.  The new regulation is the most sweeping piece of legislation when it comes to data privacy of the last 20 years.  With the 25 May deadline fast approaching, guest speaker Kirsty McAuley of the Corporate and Commercial team at Coodes Solicitors will give an overview of the GDPR regulations and those aspects that you need to take into consideration even though you may be at the start of your new business venture. Kirsty will give an overview of the regulations, together with some practical assistance of where to go for advice and what you may need to do now.

Take over 200 musicians from more than 30 countries and imagine they never met but are filmed, sampled and combined to create new music of extraordinary fusions. A truly musical journey without borders!.

Six years now in the making, audio/video remixers and electronic duo Addictive TV tour their acclaimed Orchestra of Samples project. The pair filmed improvised recording sessions with musicians around the world, then sampled and ingeniously spliced them together to create the whole project, resulting in a digital supergoup of internationals artists who never met, but play together on-screen.

YOLK x RVR: The Send Off


We're collaborating with our friends over at YOLK Photography Collective to bring you 'THE SEND OFF', one last big gig before Falmouth and Exeter's third years go off to grow in the world. ‘YOLK’ is a collective of final year BA Photography students at Falmouth who are raising money to fund their final show at the Truman Brewery for Free Range (22nd -25th June). Helping Hands and Pans dinner for The Wave Project

St Anthony Head Nordic Walk for Fal River Festival


Let's get out on the Fal River boats to take us for a day of Nordic Walking for the Fal River Festival. We start the day for those who haven't Nordic Walked before with a Beginners Workshop at the beautiful Trelissick Gardens.  This one-hour session starting at 9.45 (please arrive 15 mins early) will teach you how to Nordic Walk and use the poles properly to get the most out of the days Nordic Walking.   We will then make our way over to Place on St Anthony Head on the Roseland.  This is a stunning Nordic Walk with views out over the Fal River taking in St Anthony Head lighthouse and views across to Pendennis Castle.  At 11.15 will meet those who are coming for just the Roseland Nordic Walk (those that have completed a Beginners Workshop before) in the car park at the Information Shelter. The whole group will then make their way down to the pontoon in time for the boat to pick us up at 11.45 to take us to St Mawes.   Ferry times outbound... Trelissick 11.45 Falmouth (Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier) 12.15 - Please collect your ferry voucher from the Visitor Information Centre at PWP before boarding. St Mawes 12.35 We will have a 25 min wait for the place ferry so just enough time for a coffee in St Mawes before we set off. The place ferry will drop us off for us to start our Roseland Nordic Walk at 1.15.  Please bring lunch with you as we will stop for a picnic lunch on the way around St Anthony Head.  Ferry times return... Place at 3.45  Trelissick ferry will leave St Mawes at  4.30pm and arrive at Trelissick 5.10pm. Falmouth ferry will leave St Mawes at  4.15pm and arrive in Falmouth at 4.35pm IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF THIS NORDIC WALK IS FOR YOU PLEASE CONTACT KELLY AT WALK KERNOW WHAT TO BRING/WEAR Layered clothing to suit the weather, please remember we are out for the majority of the day so the weather can change quickly - please NO jeans.
