Children are welcome but please note the late showing time and the film rating (12). What should I wear? The great British summer can be unpredictable and temperatures can drop significantly in the evening so remember to bring a jacket or extra blanket with you. What happens if it rains? This is an all-weather event and the outdoor screening will still go ahead if rain is forecast. Should this happen, we advise bringing a suitable waterproof coat. You will have the opportunity to speak to everyone there to see if anyone can help you or knows anyone who can. Keeping it friendly and simple. It's also a good opportunity to visit our hub and meet our staff. You will be able ask questions face to face about the upcoming opportunities, programmes we can offer you and how they work. Come along and take a risk, what have you got to lose? You don't know who's in the room and what they have to offer until you find out! Who are Social Value UK? Social Value UK are a membership organisation that spans sectors including public, private and civil society. SVUK members’ professions range from social impact practitioners academics, service delivery workers, to entrepreneurs and people working in businesses of all sizes. They have a common commitment to measuring the impact their business has on the environment and society, to maximising the social value or the ‘good’ that is created through their work. Then they endeavour to create as much social value as possible, within their means. This is an opportunity for you to meet people who have similar goals to you, who have taken steps to account for their social value and actively do more of it. You will have conversations about common challenges and successes, and leave feeling inspired having made some contacts that will help you build your confidence on your social value journey, to enact the socially responsible goals you had in mind but were not sure how to bring to life. “This activity forms part of the Coventry & Warwickshire Business Support Programme, is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)“.
