Hands On with Adobe Photoshop


Aimed at beginners wanting to spend ‘Hands On’ time working in Adobe Photoshop, this 3 hour workshop, led by local photographer Cat Burton, will give you an opportunity to work through a provided project using the essential tools and techniques that make up Photoshop, including Q&A and 1-1 feedback. There’ll also be time to work on a photograph of your own choice with 1-1 feedback and advice.Due to the nature of this ‘Hands On’ workshop there are a limited number of spaces available, please note that all places will need to be booked for it to go ahead.  There are two types of tickets available, one type using the equipment already in the Maker_Space and the second type is that you can bring your own laptop which has the 1 week Adobe Photoshop free trial already downloaded, we can support you with this download ahead of the workshop itself.

Herbal Home Remedies - Part 1


This workshop will help you to begin your journey as a home Herbalist! Gain confidence and learn how to safely use herbal remedies for minor ailments for yourself and friends and family. Part one is about using herbs externally on the skin for complaints such as sore muscles, burns, cuts and sprains and more.. Learn through practical application how to use poultices and herbal baths, and how to make herbal oils and salves. In this workshop you will also be introduced to 7 herbs suitable for external skin application and how to use them including calendula, comfrey and st johns wort. You will leave the workshop with 2 herbal remedies to begin your home herbal pharmacy as well as the skills to make more! The session aims to introduce the emotion works approach, this model guides and supports learning and talking about emotion across all ages and stages of development. Pricing: Perth Autism Support training workshops are free to families registered with us.
