The Carpenters Experience

This Event is being put on by Tony & Beckie to help raise funds for there Daughter Teigan-Rose Bayliss to have Stem Cell Therapy. Karen and Richard Carpenter performed and often wrote, some of the greatest love songs of all time. Recreated to perfection by the Carpernters Experience. Believe it or not, it's said that the very first recognised Tribute Act was a show devoted to  the music of the phenomenal brother and sister singing duo, The Carpenters. If true then it shows the amazing popularity enjoyed by the twosome back in the 70's and early 80's before Karen's untimely loss.  Even if you weren't a fan, you almost certainly knew one or more of their songs and perhaps, guiltily back then, hummed a tune or two walking quietly on your own. After all, how could you resist on Top Of The World, Sing or Close To You? The Carpenters experience has a great catalogue of music to perform and they go about it with all guns blazing. Lead singer Maggie is a hugely experienced show performer with over 20 years in the business.  With a voice verging on the purity of Karen C's this lady is a fitting singer to present those great tunes.  Backed by a highly-talented touring band, this is a show that has been performed across the UK, Europe and Asia
