Christmas Crooners - 'Baby it's Cold Outside'


“Baby it’s cold outside”  A romantic Christmas special. Now in its tenth record breaking year, “Christmas Crooners” is jam packed with festive favourites including the Christmas hits of Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Ol’ Blue Eyes himself- Frank Sinatra.   Once again this year, we have our beautiful Christmas “belle” singing her favourite Christmas songs, including Santa Baby, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Rocking Around The Christmas Tree and many more. This fantastic cast of West-End Singers, are backed by the superb and talented swing band: The Jazz- All-Stars and they perform over 30 well known Christmas hits including:“Baby it’s cold outside”“Chestnuts Roasting”“Little Drummer Boy”“White Christmas” There will also be swing arrangements of Christmas hymns and songs such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”“Deck The Halls” and “Silent Night”Staged in the warm and delightful style of the famous Andy Williams Christmas Shows, this brilliant production comes complete with Christmas Trees, a Rocking Chair and of course a lovely warm fireplace; just right for roasting those chestnuts and toasting the season! The Crooners give the audience a show full of swinging Christmas cheer, and witty banter, a perfect show for the perfect season. Guaranteed to get you in the festive mood, come and sing along to great songs from Christmas past with the Christmas Crooners. Santa is back at Harestanes and he needs your help! Bilberry the Elf is in charge again but things have gone horribly wrong in Santa's Christmas delivery office. Can you help Bilberry and save Christmas? Come and join us on a festive quest to help Santa. ·        Enjoy a 30-minute interactive performance suitable for the whole family. ·        Meet Santa in his magical Nordic grotto ·        Children will receive a token of thanks from Santa    What else can you enjoy with the family? ·        A range of festive treats and great coffee from our acclaimed café that will also feature children’s activities.   ·        Find that unique gift idea in our refreshed country gift shop. ·        Get away from the crowds. Enjoy a peaceful and quiet time enjoying the countryside and relaxing with your family. FAQs What ages are the event suitable for? ·        We've created Santa's Harestanes Happening 2 for all the family. What are my transport options for getting to and from the event? ·        Harestanes can be reached from Edinburgh via the number 51 Borders Bus. This route calls through Pathhead, Lauder, Earlston, St. Boswells, Jedburgh and Kelso. The timetable can be viewed by clicking here. ·        Harestanes can be reached from Hawick via the number 20 Pete Hogg bus. This route also calls through Denholm, Jedburgh and Ancrum. The timetable can be viewed by clicking here. ·        Harestanes can be reached by car from Edinburgh, traveling via the route planned here. ·        You can also create your own route from your by using the AA website here using your home/starting postcode and navigating to Harestanes, TD8 6UQ. What about the weather? ·        This years performance will be mainly indoors, so please feel free to come dressed in the Christmas spirit. ·        We know not all cars are as winter proof as Santa's sleigh, so please leave with plenty of time to complete your journey safely. Skipinnish Live in Galashiels 2018


Skipinnish are riding an ever-growing wave of popularity and 2018 has been the biggest year for the band since they began way back in 1999 when co-founders Andrew Stevenson and Angus MacPhail joined forces. With increased numbers from these early days and with the addition of lead vocals and full back line, the last few years have seen this band hit the very top of the music scene in Scotland. With hit after hit of self penned songs and a strong mix of powerful bagpipe, fiddle and accordion led tune sets, they encompass the very best of contemporary Celtic Music. Skipinnish have also now had nearly 8 million spotify plays and over two million you tube views. Their large and growing fan base is such that all Skipinnish gigs in 2018 sold out in advance.
