Each year we get a fantastic response to our museum Santa. This December, we’ll once again transform Weston Park’s Arctic World gallery into Santa’s North Pole ho-ho-home. Bring the family along to meet the man himself, who’ll be there with a warm welcome, quality presents and plenty of Christmas cheer.

Enter the Ballroom Foyer and feel like a million dollars with Paparazzi snapping away while you make your way through the hustle and bustle of the red carpet walkway. The wow factor doesn’t stop there, as you enter through the Ballroom doors you will feel like you really are at the Oscars with lavish draping, Oscars memorabilia, and mood lighting to really set the scene. From the start of the evening, you will be greeted by our very own Oscars Paparazzi followed by a delicious 3-course meal whilst enjoy being entertained by live entertainment throughout the night to then dance the night away to our resident DJ until the early hours.

TMG Open House: Automotive Technologies


In-Comm Training and Manufacturing Group (TMG), in collaboration with our technical partners, would like to invite you to a special ‘open house’ at the Marches Centre of Manufacturing & Technology (MCMT) in Bridgnorth. The event will explore the advanced technologies that are currently supporting the automotive industry.  There will be opportunities to experience a range of world class technologies in CNC machine tools, metrology, 3D printing and Wire EDM, whilst guest speakers will outline where the sector is moving towards.  Delegates will also have the opportunity to explore the 36,000 sq ft MCMT training hub, a unique employer-led centre that will support 2020 learners by 2020 with trailblazer apprenticeships and upskilling opportunities and attend a tour of Classic Motor Cars, a partner of MCMT.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Youth 2-Day Course


Our Youth MHFA Two Day course qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider. Youth Mental Health First Aiders have: An in depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that affect wellbeing Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues  Confidence to reassure and support a young person in distress Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening  Knowledge to help a young person recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s through self-help sites, their place of learning, the NHS, or a mix – engaging with parents, carers and external agencies where appropriate Ability to support a young person with a long term mental health issue or disability to thrive Tools to look after your own mental wellbeing Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) 2-Day courses are for everyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. They will teach you the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, you can speed up a young person’s recovery and stop a mental health issue from getting worse. Our courses won’t teach you to be a therapist – but just like physical first aid, we will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.
