Meditation Training and Group Meditation

This event will be held at Allia's Future Business Centre in Peterborough and will be presented by Martin Hassall from Meditation in the Workplace Ltd. It provides an introduction to the benefits of meditation and, in particular, the benefits of introducing meditation to the workplace. Some of the myths that often prevent people from meditating will be dispelled and the science behind meditation explained. Attendees will be encouraged to perform a short breathing exercise and take part on a short group meditation. The way we work affects both yourself and colleagues around you . Your work environment can be a place of fulfilment and creativity, but the increasing complexity and demands of the modern workplace can cause anxiety, stress and fatigue. Meditation and mindfulness cultivate calm and clarity, offering an effective means of relieving stress and creating mental space. Freeing energy and increasing creativity and enjoyment, meditation can help to build confident decision making and effective action. Those experienced in meditation and beginners to meditation are most welcome.
