Drawn to Nature Community Exhibition

Enjoy community created art as pieces from our beginner-level drawing workshop, Drawn to Nature, are displayed in this unique exhibition.

Drawn to nature is a Banff Centre organized series of events where participants of all ages and levels of experience are invited to sketch and draw with instruction from esteemed Teaching Artist in Residence Janice Tanton. The participants explored different drawing and mark-making techniques using various materials and supplies throughout the summer, with varying subjects and inspiration to draw from. All Drawn to Nature classes encourage artistic exploration and conversation about the ways in which we interact with the cultural and geological landscapes of Banff National Park.
