Scientology Network TV

“You’ve probably heard of Scientology,” “In fact, every six seconds someone searches the question, ‘What is Scientology?’ There’s a lot of talk about Scientology, and we get it. People are curious. Well, we want to answer your questions, because, frankly, whatever you have heard, if you haven’t heard it from us, I can assure you, we are not what you expect.” You are now able to see and experience the religion for yourself —who Scientologists are, what Scientology is and what Scientology can do—as told by Scientologists, themselves, “Scientology is a dynamic and expanding religion, and we’re going to be showing you all of it.” “Let’s be clear, we’re not here to preach to you, to convince you or to convert you. No, we simply want to show you. Because, after all, the first principle of Scientology is that ‘It’s only true if it is true for you.’” Find out the facts about the Church as an institution and its humanitarian and social betterment organizations. These programs show Scientology in action, providing not just insights into the only major religion to emerge in the last century, but also offering a fresh take on compelling television entertainment demanded by today’s digital world. The Scientology Network is immediately available anywhere, anytime. at www.scientology.tv and is broadcasting 24/7.

Evolution: Torres Strait Islander Masks

Evolution: Torres Strait Masks presents a rich history of mask making in the Torres Strait. The exhibition highlights the significance of masks in Torres Strait Islander ceremonies and culture and their evolution to the present day through the commission works of eight artists from the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula area. Masks from Zenadh Kes are striking objects of deep ritual and historical significance. While rooted in ancient protocols and spirituality, masks and mask making are celebrated today as expressions of artistic and cultural revival. Evolution: Torres Strait Masks provides audiences with a special insight into a revived practice that was once unmatched by all cultures of the world as well as tools, techniques and materials such bones, tusks, feathers, shells, nuts, seeds and natural tree fiber. Evolution: Torres Strait Masks was developed by the National Museum of Australia in partnership with the Gab Titui Cultural Centreand its parent body, the Torres Strait Regional Authority.
