A Fresh Perspective on Finding Resilience and Wellbeing

For those interested in health and wellbeing and for professionals working in the field of mental health Are YOU interested in tapping into your natural ability to deal with and bounce back from the challenges and changes life throws at us? Are you personally or professionally helping others who are going through a tough time?  If so this 2 day interactive workshop is for you!  There is a growing body of professionals in disciplines as diverse as psychology, psychiatry, business, education, social work, sport and across the spectrum of human endeavour who are transforming lives for the better by sharing a health based approach. This approach explains that every single human being resides in mental health and as such can return to balance, clarity and well-being with ease. This default setting within us is what has got us to where we are today and understanding how to access this more frequently is a game changer. This fresh perspective is based around a simple, scientific and logical description of the human experience and condition. You will discover that: The mind only works one way (inside out) You are designed for success (whatever success means to you) Gaining an appreciation of this process in action frees us from the constraints of conditioned, judgemental and insecure thinking and we return to a state of balance and peace of mind quicker and easier.  As a result of attending this workshop you will: Discover your inner confidence, motivation and productivity Respond to your thoughts, feelings and emotions intelligently Be able to remain optimistic – without being naïve and ignoring what is going on Feel more whole, resilient, and connect more deeply with others See why it is possible to be more “philosophical” about life and take things less personally Respond to knockbacks, stress, worry and burnout in a much more balanced way Be able to tap in to your creative side more often  Workshop Format and Style: Expect a relaxed experiential, practical and discursive environment. Through real life examples, scenarios and case studies you will have a chance to explore, experiment and test out for yourself the Principles based framework. There are no theories, tools and techniques to learn simply the opportunity in real time to discover: The mind only works one way (inside out) You are designed for success (whatever success is for you) The more deeply you realise the first two points the more easily you tap in to your natural resilience and wellbeing finding that life is more enjoyable, fulfilling and productive.  When:                                  Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December 2017 Where:                                headspace Gladstone, Level 3/93 Goondoon Street, Gladstone, Central QLD 4680 Directions:                          http://bit.ly/2A2fURP Check in:                            9:30-10 am, Wrap-up 4:00 pm Workshop Cost:               $159.34 (AUD) per person Payment options consist of credit/debit card or invoice (for electronic bank transfer).  To register and select your payment type 'click' on Tickets in the green box at the top of this page.
