University of Oxford Interview Workshops 2018 (Lurgan, Northern Ireland)

The University of Oxford Interview Workshop is by booking only. The aim of each workshop is to help applicants understand the shortlisting process, what to expect from an Oxford interview, how to prepare and what we are looking for from our applicants. It will also provide an opportunity for students to practice discussion questions and to understand the style and format of Oxford interviews better. Each workshop will last for approximately 1.5hours. Due to a limited number of places available and in order for all those in attendance to gain the most benefit from the workshop, attendance is restricted to those who have applied to the University of Oxford in this admissions round. Please understand that whilst similar, there are distinct differences in the Cambridge admissions process. If you do have students who have applied to the University of Cambridge, please contact Cambridge directly for information and advice on their admissions process and interviews.  Bookings must be made directly by students applying to study at the University of Oxford.  We are running this workshop twice on this day, once in Lurgan and once in Belfast. Lisburn Monthly Mixer

Fobo – Singles Saturdays organises over 200 free singles mixers across the UK every month. Please read the full listing to understand how Fobo free mixers work. If attending alone we would recommend joining your local Facebook group first. Your nearest group can be found via the Free app. So how does the concept work ? Its simple, either Fobo admin or members suggest a suitable venue for an un-hosted free monthly singles mixer in your local area and the event is promoted here on Eventbrite, on the free Fobo app and on Facebook. The aim of the concept is simple, increase the number of singles in local venues at specific times. With a higher than normal number of singles at a Fobo mixer it gives people a better than average chance of meeting someone single in a safer, more natural environment. Are mixers only open to single people ? No. The mixers are open to everyone so if you would like to bring your bestie who isn't single as a wing they are welcome to attend. Is there space set aside in the venue ? On some occasions yes. So how will I know who’s single ? You can either browse through the singles in the Fobo app, get to know them through the posts in the Singles Saturdays Facebook groups or you can do it the traditional way and start a face to face conversation. Can I organise my own mixer ? Yes absolutely ! If you would like to organise any kind of event that will enable people to expand their offline singles network of friends and opportunities we would love to hear from you. Members can also organise men only or women only events to expand their single friends netork. Other mixers you might like to organise can include speed dating, karaoke, comedy nights, crazy golf, a pub crawl, a kids picnic, coffee mornings or any number of other events. Anything you would like us to arrange and promote to the Fobo singles network we are happy help you with. Will Fobo charge us any commissions or take any fees ? No. The only fees that will be deducted from an event are the fees charged by Eventbrite which you can choose to pass on to those attending your event. If you would like to organise a mixer please email : [email protected] And remember everything Pof, Tinder and Match charge you for is free on Fobo. Thank you.
