Summer Delights with Coral (FASS members only)

About the activity Doe's your child or young person enjoy cooking and baking but struggle to cope with the pressure of a group setting because there is often too many children, noises and smells resulting in a sensory overload? Or maybe they struggle to maintain focus and require support and regular breaks at a pace suited for them? Our cooking sessions are a fab opportunity to improve your child's life skills whilst helping them to face their sensory issues around food, possibly even opening their minds to trying new foods whilst in a friendly, low stimuli and relaxed environment.  We have hired two rooms at Portchester Community Centre, we use one room for baking whilst the other is used as a break-out room for regular intervals that contains a selection of arts and crafts, board games and a secure garden.  This summer all three sessions will focus on summer pastries such as jam tarts. WIth our last session on 28th August ending with a tea party, so make sure you bring your picnic blankets!
