Super Heroes Walk 2018

Be a Superhero and help us save lives! Join us at the Super Heroes Walk and help us in the fight against cancer – all money raised will go directly towards funding The Robin Cancer Trust’s life-saving cancer awareness campaigns – raising awareness of testicular and ovarian cancers in young adults. This family-friendly fundraising event offers a 1k and 5k route for people of all ages which you can walk, run, fly or teleport! You are all invited to dress-up and celebrate your heroes – from Spider-Man to Wonder Woman, Elsa to Olaf, or even just Mum & Dad! For the spectators, there will be an entire village of entertainment to enjoy, with live-music, food & drink and loads of stalls to keep you entertained! *** The Robin Cancer Trust is the UK’s only germ cell cancer awareness charity – set-up following the untimely death of our inspiration Robin, from a rare form of testicular cancer, aged just 24. Our aim is to raise awareness of testicular & ovarian cancers in young adults through attending events, using the power or social media and giving life-saving awareness talks across the region. Our dedicated awareness campaigns highlight the importance of early detection of this rare form of cancer, highlighting the signs and symptoms and tackling the ’embarrassment factor’ in young men and women. All proceeds from the Super Heroes Walk will directly fund our life-saving awareness campaigns – together we can raise awareness, reduce embarrassment and save lives. The Robin Cancer Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales. Registered number: 1148999. Registered office: 29 Queens Road, Wivenhoe, Essex, CO7 9JJ.
