The Breakfast club for Business Networking


The Breakfast Club is an established (est 2001) business networking group which provides a fun and supportive opportunity for businesses in and around Brighton and Hove to gain more business, to learn how to network more effectively and to learn from each other.We meet on a Tuesday morning in Hove at The Courtland's Hotel starting at 7.15 am and finishing at 8.45 am. This is a non-profit making club so there are no joining fees! If you choose to join you just pay a monthly subscription to cover your breakfast each week. Get an insider's view Come on a campus tour to get an insiders’ view of our Chichester campus.  The tours last about an hour and are open to anybody thinking of studying here, and their guests - so you are very welcome to bring along family and friends. What to expect Campus tours are a great way to get a feel for University of Chichester.  Run regularly throughout the year in small groups, these tours are a perfect opportunity to find out more about living and studying at Chichester.  A member of our team will take you around the campus and show you our dynamic learning spaces, including the innovative social learning spaces and our refurbished Learning Resource Centres. See You Next Tuesday! Comedy Open Mic & New Material Night


See You Next Tuesday! is the leading stand up new material an open mic night on the South Coast run in an independent venue and attended by professionals, semi professionals and amateurs. A fast paced, new material open mic comedy night. Come and watch some of the best comics on the open circuit live or die. Hilarious or painful but never mediocre! Doors open 7pm, event starts 8pm. 1 free drink per audience member. You can buy advance tickets online.. You need an advanced ticket to enter as spaces are limited but you can pay on the door. Pre-paid tickets are cheaper than pre-booked tickets.The format of the night is up to 15 comedians per event, with each comedian getting a 5 min slot to try out their best new material. Occasionally TV comics and top names pop in to test stuff out.Inclusive and friendly, this is also where we find acts for our paid gigs on the weekends and for Brighton Fringe Festival, etc.. It is a great night to try out some of your newest material or just come down to support others and enjoy the intimate environment.

Fire and Knife Monday 22 October for 8+ years 1.30-4.00 The Secret Garden


Come and join us in the secret garden to learn some new skills.  Use the saw horse to make wooden roses, whittle a wooden spoon or carve a woodland creature. Create fire using a variety of methods and enjoy the autumn in lovely surroundings. This activity is suitable for children aged 8+. Adults do not need to accompany the children. There is no parking at the venue, Children can be dropped in the car park at the Woolpack Inn Pub where Forest School leaders will pick them up and deliver them back at 4pm. Please could the children wear close toed shoes and long sleeved shirts as well as long trousers, We will be creating fire and woodcraft as well as enjoying the garden environment as the wildlife present in this conservation area.

Pumpkin Soup the best you ever tasted! The Secret Garden Monday 22 October 930-1130 for 2-7ear olds and their parents


Bring your children to Chichester Forest School's secret garden for some half term fun.  Join the cat the rabbit and the squirrel as they recreate the Story Pumpkin Soup.  We will be cooking, making and decorating masks with natural materials and playing some adventurous games. Children to be accompanied by an adult. FAQs   What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? The Land behind 69 Fishbourne Road is situated off the A259 in the village of Fishbourne.  Parking on the site is not available but the Woolpack Pub have very kindly allowed us to use their car park. If you are able to patronise the pub, they do a fantastic and reasonably priced lunches. We will meet you at the car park at 1000Please phone us if you need directions 07747611912  or 07543988422. What can/can't I bring to the event? It is advisable for children to wear long sleeved tops and trousers with enclosed footwear - wellies are perfect. Waterproof coat is essential and ideally waterproof trousers. it can be cold  in the garden so bringing an extra layer for yourself and child is advisable. The ground if fairly dry and accessible by pushchair if a smaller sibling is coming along too. Under 2's are free. We often have small siblings from babies upward. No dogs.
