HR Connect Over Coffee

Due to the continued success of the HR: Connect Over Coffee Events, we are pleased to confirm our 8th Event being held on Wednesday 16th January 2019, starting with registration at 6:00pm with a 6:30pm event start.  We are pleased to confirm the guest speaker for this event is Linda Doe, MD and Principal Psychologist at Apana Business Psychology Ltd As some of you will remember, Linda was due to speak to us in November, however due to personal circumstances unfortunately had to reschedule. We know that many of you were very much looking forward to Linda’s topic of discussion, so we are really excited to have Linda back with us and speaking for this event. Linda’s topic for January’s event is - Managing our well-being in 2019 New Year's Resolutions are best known for the speed with which they are forgotten! And whilst we may kick off some changes to manage our well-being after the December festivities, we may soon start to flag and forget. Why is that? Within this session we will explore how we might take a more mindful, inspiring – and sustainable! - approach to managing our well-being in 2019. The session will be interactive and curious – making the most of Linda’s skills as a Psychologist, speaker, complementary health practitioner and yoga teacher. Linda has 20 years of experience as an Occupational and Chartered Psychologist.  She has supported a wide range of corporate and SME clients to develop potential, performance and well-being. She takes a compassionate approach rooted in Depth Psychology, previous clinical experience and real-world pragmatism from her own management of individuals and teams.  She has been a complementary health practitioner since the late 80’s and teaches yoga to ease anxiety and stress. As an Expert Witness, she has worked on over fifty cases relating to stress at work, is an experienced mediator and is a mentor and supervisor to Psychology and HR practitioners. As always should you have any questions or points of discussion prior to the event, please email over to [email protected], who can send over to Linda to ensure you get the information you require.  Following on from our guest speaker slot, time allowing, we will end the event with an opportunity to network and mingle with a beverage and a tasty slice of cake.  We look forward to seeing at the forthcoming event  Kind regards, The HR: Connect Over Coffee Committee Members
