UrbanWave2019: Marching On


URBANWAVE2019  |  MARCHING ON  |  ONE WEEK OF FIRE Urban Wave is the East Coast Urban Mission Conference that doubles up as a beach holiday for low income families. At just £10 per adult and free tickets for under 18's this is the perfect conference for anyone that struggles to afford a big festival. This year our speaking line-up includes: Evangelist Darren Edwards, from Ignite Elim Church, Lincoln Pastor Lynda Heron, from Elim Church Northampton Pastor Clyde Thomas, from Victory Church Cwmbran and Carl Beech, from Christian Vision for Men. We also have guest worship leader, Danny Oates, leading us alongside the band. Finally, on Tuesday evening we'll be hosting Comedian, Tom Elliott, for our after hours session. We will host a week of mission at the beach with a fun day on Wednesday the 14th of August, and our whole week will be ministry heavy as we focus on the awesome power and presence of God. FAQs 1. Do the organisers supply accommodation? We do not supply accommodation, but we do recommend Towervans Caravan Park. You can get a 6berth caravan for around £250 for 4 nights stay. 2. Is there something for children? Yes, we run childrens activities throughout the whole week, including some organised games and compeitions on the beach. 3. Can I buy a ticket on the door? You can buy a ticket on the door for the regular price of £15.

THE WESTCLIFF BREAKFAST BUSINESS NETWORKING GROUP


This Business Networking Group has been meeting every month for the last 10 years and averages an attendance of 30 people from a wide variety of different types of local businesses. During this time, the group has been co-ordinated by Mike Huggett of CURA - Passion for Ales of the UK, who can be contacted at [email protected]  This informal group meet on the first Wednesday of each month at a local bistro called My Kitchen, 157, Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, SS0 7EW and the meeting starts at 7.30am and finishes around 9.00am. There are plenty of car parking spaces around the venue which are free untill 9.00am and some until 10.00am. The cost to attend the event is just £4.00 (payable on the day) This money is and has always been, 100% given to My Kitchen (Previously The Nosherie) as a contribution towards the refreshments. Unlimited tea & coffee, plus a bacon sandwich or vegetarian equivalent.
