Meditation Half-day Course: Contemplating Death - for a Happy Life

Contemplating Death - for a Happy Life None of us likes to think about our death, but it is actually one of the most effective and uplifting meditations on the spiritual path. Contemplating our own mortality allows us to let go of our anxieties and irritations and to focus instead on what really counts. The course comprises two one-hour sessions with a refreshment break. Each session will consist of guided meditations and a talk. Everyone is warmly welcome and no experience is needed. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Taught by Resident Teacher Kelsang Rak-ma who is a Buddhist nun with over 16 years experience of teaching and practising meditation. Seating will be on chairs (or cushions if you prefer) and no special clothing is required.

Venue:
Drolma Buddhist Centre
260 Dogsthorpe Road Peterborough

When:
Sat, 23 Feb 2019 10.30am -
