Learn to Paddleboard on The River Avon!

Learn How to Paddleboard on The Beautiful River Avon   Our Learn to Paddle Adventure Days are more than just a beginner's taster session! Join us for two hours of fun and adventure on the beautiful River Avon. Perfect for the absolute beginner, ASI qualified SUP instructor, James Wittering will introduce to the gear you'll be using, give you a land-based instruction and safety briefing before heading out on the water. You'll learn how to safely get on and off the board, manoeuvre around in the water and stand up before heading down the river together to hone your new skills and take in some of the beautiful countryside and enjoy the tranquillity; you might even spot a kingfisher! And find out why paddleboarding is the UK's fastest growing watersport! Who is this activity perfect for? Families or friend groups from age 10 to, well, pretty much any age so long as you can stand up and swim at least 50m! This a very accessible water sport and you don't need any experience whatsoever to enjoy our Learn to Paddle sessions. Each session is limited to 8 spaces so that we can give everyone maximum attention and fun times! What is included? Our two-hour sessions include all the gear you need to get on the water (board, paddle, leash and buoyancy aid). We just ask that you dress for the weather; board shorts and tee shirts are a favourite, or perhaps your yoga outfit. Quick drying and sun safe are a good choice (don't forget your suncream). Parking and amenities We launch from the pontoon near Raphael's Cafe by the Hampton Ferry so there are tea, coffee and some sensational cakes to be had after our paddle! Parking is on-site and costs £2 for the whole day. Prices Our Learn to Paddle sessions are £50 per person Refund Policy We have to plan ahead and session spaces are limited so we offer a full refund if you notify us of your cancellation 2 weeks before your session or a 50% refund a week before your booked session. Personal Journey Programme

Take this step in your journey to who you are meant to become.  What is involved? Four workshop days where you will work in a small supportive group using Pesso Boyden, a cutting edge mind and body therapy.  Plus individual support sessions between the workshop dates via phone or Skype. How does it work? Bessel van der Kolk dedicated one chapter of his Book 'The Body Keeps The Score' to this amazing method. Boyden Therapy can help you to rewire your negative thinking and dissolve unwanted patterns that keep you from enjoying your life. Present consciousness is woven out of memory, that means we see the now through the lens of our past experience. In Pesso Boyden Therapy we look at how we can change our lives. It has been likened to getting in a time machine, traveling back into a hypothetical past and finally getting your childhood needs met on a symbolic level. This leads to completion, feelings of satisfaction and peace.  Whilst we cannot change our history, what seek to do is create a body felt experience of an alternate possibility.  Creating a new memory of an ideal interaction which gets wired in the longterm memory.  Suddenly the world starts to look different.Pesso Boyden Therapy is also sometimes referred to as a therapists therapy and one structure can be equal to 8 month of weekly talking therapy.Over the four monthly workshops each member will experience having structures and observing and participating in other people's work. This can be as powerful as having a structure yourself, as you can piggyback on someone else's experience and learn about the method. Those interested in training and development CPD certificates are available. What people have said about this work: "I have found Pesso Boyden Therapy to be one of the most effective therapies I have ever experienced".  "I was struck by the fact at the beginning I was in a room full of strangers, but the group was wonderfully present and respectful.""The sick feeling I have had all my life has simply disappeared. I have been in therapy for four years and it was surprising that one session could fix things that I have been working on all my life."'I feel the relief from the release of carrying the burden for 55 years. It is very powerful. I now feel happy and free."
