Toddler Rhyme Time (Poulton)

FUNDED ITQ Sessions


The ITQ units are aligned to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for IT Users. This ensures that the skills and knowledge outlined in the units represent the needs of employers and are relevant to learners of all types. Sessions are run weekly on Tuesday & Thursdays.  START ITOur City & Guilds Award for IT Users is an ideal first step in understanding IT and its applications. Completion of this course enables progression to further IT qualifications. LEVEL 1Our City & Guilds ITQ level 1 course provides an excellent introduction to using a computer and working with the most popular and industry-standard computer applications (Microsoft).  LEVEL 2Our City & Guilds Level 2 IT Users course provides flexible study to allow learners to develop and learn IT skills that are most needed in the workplace. The qualification is set by employers to meet the standards required at work when using Microsoft Office IT applications. ITQ 3Our City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications for IT Users develop skills and knowledge that learners require for a career in and/or in using IT. Are you unsure about where to start and what 'being online' actually means?   GMB Reachout are offering an Online Basics workshop to run on Wednesdays at ACT Accrington. The session will run for 2 hours between 10am and 12pm.  Whilst the focus is mainly on using the internet for job searching, our friendly staff will be on hand to show you everything you need to know about being online. Whether you need to use the Gov.uk website or download an app onto your tablet, our staff will give you all the help and support you need.  It does not matter if you're a beginner or a regular internet user, there will be interesting modules for you.
