You're very welcome to join us at our breakfast meeting of the One Step Beyond group of Business Network International, at 9.45am - 11.30am in the Alona Hotel, Strathclyde Country Park, Bellshill. BNI is a business and professional networking organisation whose primary purpose is to exchange qualified business referrals. There is plenty of time for open networking from as early as 9.45am along with tea/coffee. After that there is a structured meeting where you will have an opportunity to tell the group about your business and what referrals you are looking for, in 60 seconds (as long as your profession doesn't clash with one of our members). There will be also be a 10 minute presentation from one of our regular members. The professions already represened in the group include; Accountancy  IFA Commercial Insurance Hair/Make Up Design Joinery Plumbing and Heating Services Carpets & Flooring  HR Services  Mortgages Web Design  Architecture Virtual Personal Assistant IT Support Commercial Furniture Sales Merchant Services. Printing. Photography.  This is a free event, however there is a £10 venue fee payable to cover the cost of the room and lunch after the meeting. VIP Tours


Meet your guide at the visitor centre and collect your keepsake VIP pass, handle weaponry/artifacts and get dressed up (if you wish)  before heading  to the castle for a tour lasting approximately one hour.  Your dedicated tour guide will give an in depth historical account of the castle with plenty opportunity for photographs, questions and answers. Limited Availability 11am till 1pm approx. Every Wednesday with Erik Bloodaxe and every Friday with Dave the English prisoner throughout July and August 2019. Your ticket includes VIP pass, Dundonald Castle  branded gifts, dedicated tour guide. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are non refundable.

Whitelee Summer Science Club


The Whitelee Summer Science Club is back for another year.  This year we have some new workshops, and some improved old favourites.  We have designed and planned the workshops for children aged between 9-11 (P5-P7) although children slightly younger or slightly older are also welcome.  We unfortunately cannot take children age 7 or under.  Places are limited to 15 children per session. Each week we will be running the SAME workshop every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  The theme of the workshop will be different every week, and topics include; Physics, Genetics, Melittology (?), Biology and more. Each workshop will run from 10:30 - 11:30 but may overun slightly.  All workshops are planned to be indoors, but if this changes we will notify ticket holders in advance. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP FOR THE SESSIONS YOU CAN DEFINITELY ATTEND. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A WORKSHOP TWICE IN THE SAME WEEK AS IT WILL JUST BE A REPEAT PLEASE CANCEL ANY TICKETS IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT FOR ANY REASON If you just want to sign up for a couple of weeks, or the whole 6 weeks, that's perfectly fine. On the day of your first workshop you will be required to fill out a registration form before we can start.

Cumnock Walking Tour


Join members of Cumnock History Group for a guided walk round the historic centre of Cumnock and find out about connections to Robert Burns, Keir Hardie, Sir Walter Scott and … Pottery Joe. Tour will take about 2 hours. After the tour we will have a cream tea at the 1906, Royal Hotel in the Square. Group size will be limited to 10, so don’t delay in booking your place.
