How To Wreck Your Business - Business Growth Workshops

There are many great books out there that will share the secrets to the authors success. Very few share with you how to WRECK your business, in the sincere hope that you won’t of course. This book (realesed later in 2019) is a true story, it’s a horror story, yet an outsider looking in would have been completely unaware.  Indeed those in the business were completely unaware of the mistakes, and that includes the owners !!! Eight errors was all it took to wreck an award winning, multi-million pound business on its 20th Birthday? What were those errors, how many could you be making in your business right now?  Now part of a 12 month Business Growth Programme the secrets on how NOT to wreck your business are revealed.   You'll learn how to avoid those mistakes and loads more too. From humble beginnings in 1993, The Ink Shop grew to become the biggest independent chain of print centres in Scotland. This business won numerous awards and was often quoted and referenced by Print Media as a “success story”, and it was. What went wrong?  How could an award winning, multi million pound business fail on its 20th Birthday?  How could a business that enjoyed CASH reserves of half a million pounds and a property portfolio of £1.4m possibly fail? How’s that even possible? How To Wreck Your Business finally reveals all. The mistakes that were made are not always obvious. This monthly programme gives YOU the benefit of hindsight. Learn from the mistakes made that started the “perfect storm” - how many are you making? Now part of a Monthly Business Growth Programme, How To Wreck Your Business delivers a fast paced, practical and guaranteed business development programme that is designed for the smaller business owner with big ideas. Monthly workshops provide a great opportunity to work alongside like minded business owners. Programmes are supported by monthly webinars, free seminars and a new “Saturday Surgery” to make sure you’re supported every step of the way. If you’re serious about growing your business, and not wrecking it - come along to one of our events and see for yourself just how powerful these are. Time for Change: Exploring Future Governance Opportunities in Moray

Join us for this special event to explore where governance, in all its forms, is strong in Moray and where there are opportunities for improvement. A key outcome of the morning will be a clear understanding of where governance improvements are required in Moray to generate a thriving, sustainable community. And resulting actions to take ideas forward will be clarified. As part of the LEADER-funded Building Sustainable Communities in Moray project, this creative session will be co-facilitated by the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) and tsiMORAY using tools developed by GEN through their experience in creating sustainable communities. The event will give participants the opportunity to voice challenges and therefore inform the Future Governance Forum’s ongoing programme.

Randy Klinger; Still-Life Drawing: Reflection. A MAC Summer School course

Randy Klinger Title: Still-Life Drawing: Reflection, Refraction & Transparency 1st to 5th July, 2019 The Course A straightforward approach to learning to see more accurately and to creating a stronger 3 dimensional presence in 2 dimensional arts  through clarity of form, as a way towards greater beauty. Through pencil drawing from still-life objects, you will learn and gain clarity of perception, accurate depiction of what you see, and begin to understand and master form; the clear depiction of three-dimensional form. Participants will begin to gain greater visual acuity, sensitivity to the use of line, with the aim to advance your most authentic expression and inspired imagination.  Through the observation of nature, and use of perspective and the depiction of form through light and cast shadows, you will create a stronger depiction of the natural world - creating the presence of a form in a palpable way – with the object's volume and weight that 'enters' the viewer’s space. The Tutor Randy Klinger, originally from New York, based in Findhorn, Scotland for 27 years. He has been an Artist since the age of 4.
