J.P. Licks

This popular ice cream shop began in Jamaica Plain (hence the "J.P." in the name), and now has several Boston-area locations. They offer a wide variety of flavors which change frequently. Besides the ice cream, the frozen yogurt (both hard and soft-serve) is also popular, and smoothies are served. The decor is slightly nicer than many ice cream shops, with exposed brick.
