Mel's Hot Dogs

Mel's Hot Dogs is a North Tampa fixture, owned and operated by Mel and Virginia Lohn. Located just east of the main entrance to Busch Gardens, Mel's serves up over 15 versions of Chicago style hot dogs, using only kosher style whole beef dogs from the Vienna Beef Company. All dogs are finished in a special made, hot steamed poppy seed bun.nnOther extras include french fries made from Idaho potatoes deep fried in 100% canola oil, "Mom's Recipe" homemade cole slaw and oven baked beans
