Vernon Seniors Action Network

Vernon Seniors Action Network (VSAN) is a collaborative, community-based network working to improve the well-being of older adults in Vernon and the North Okanagan. VSAN brings together seniors, service providers, non‑profit organizations, and community partners to strengthen connections, share knowledge, and drive positive systems change that helps seniors live safely, stay healthy, and remain meaningfully connected.

VSAN does not deliver direct services. Instead, it serves as a hub for collaboration, where organizations and seniors work together to identify gaps and respond to emerging needs. Our regular roundtable meetings, knowledge sharing, action teams, and community conversations strengthen the network of organizations that support seniors in our community.

A core part of VSAN’s work is amplifying seniors’ voices. Seniors’ lived experiences and perspectives are essential to shaping plans, initiatives, and advocacy efforts that influence local and regional decision‑making. By bringing seniors to the table alongside service providers and partners, VSAN helps ensure policies and practices reflect real community needs.
