This is the restaurant in the base of the State Capitol. It's run by Jim Lemming. Daily specials may include fried and baked chicken, red beans and rice, and fried fish and beans (side dishes are green beans, mashed potatoes, etc). Regular menu items include muffalottas, po boy sandwiches, salads and deserts. The food is inexpensive. The people watching is great, especially lunchtime during the legislative session.
