Tanooren

Decorated with hand-painted Armenian tiles from the Palestinian Pottery Workshop in Jerusalem, and offering a garden dining terrace in good weather, this is a charming spot for a leisurely meal. There are fabulous mezze choices, and the list of grilled meats is headed by shish tawook, a delicious Lebanese-style marinated chicken breast. Prices here are a bit higher than at similar Arabic restaurants, but many dishes are presented with an imaginative extra twist that makes them special.
