Boyd Funeral home

Wesley Boyd Sr. was born November 9, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to Dumas and Emma Humphries Boyd. He attended Forth Worth Public Schools. He graduated in 1948 from I. M. Terrell High School. His education continued at Prairie View A. & M. University. He was in the R. O. T. C. and a graduate of the Class of 1955. Thereafter, he was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and served diligently until he was honorably discharged in 1958.
