Caladesi Island was placed Americas Number 1 beach in Might 2008, located just north of Clearwater. A mangrove-covered kayak route winds from the marina to the St. Joseph Audio as well as back. Kayaks are available for leasing through the Coffee shop Caladesi. The nature route is a remarkable place to discover Osprey or go across paths with a gopher turtle.
