De Hoofdtoren

De Hoofdtoren is a restaurant located in the centre of the Hoorn Harbour. The building is one of the three remaining 16th and 17th century defence buildings. You can see the image of the tower on paintings of the battle on the Zuiderzee, between the Dutch and the Spaniards during the 80-year war (when the prince of Orange, the one from whom our Queen decends, defended our country at the end of the 16th century).nnIn this tower, with tiny small powder-canon sized holes and wooden floors, your dinner is serve
