Karbonkel

The building dates back to the first half of the 16th century. It was built after the "Palazzo dei Diamanti" in Ferrara, Italië (1492).nnOriginally the entire facade was covered with carbuncles n(deep-red garnets, unfaceted and convex).nnIn 1699 the building was used as an orphanage for girls, later to become an inn and from 1890 onwards a pub.
