Local Color Brewing Company Closed, Moving to Brighton. According to the Daily Press & Argus, December 23, 2003, Local Color Brewing Company of Novi is moving into the 60,000 square foot former Thermofil building on Whitmore Lake Road south of Grand River Avenue. The building has been vacant for the six years since it was gutted by fire. Ironically, lack of water service was cited as a reason the former tenants decided to move their business to Fowlerville.
