The word Aegis (pronounced ‘ējis’) originates from the Greek for “divine shield.” To us, it represents our core mission: to be a shield for our patients. We provide protection from the stigma of addiction, support through the challenges of withdrawal, and a defense against the isolation that so often accompanies this disease.
