About Us

Compton Junior Equestrians is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, continuing the over 30-year legacy of its predecessor in providing self-development programs to underserved urban youth in Compton and nearby areas. In response to the general lack of such initiatives, especially equestrian programs, CJE offers valuable support to at-risk youth facing challenges like school dropout, gang involvement, incarceration, and poverty.
