Ember & Oak Furniture Studio

Ember & Oak Furniture Studio is a custom woodworking atelier in Bozeman, Montana, handcrafting heirloom-quality furniture from sustainably harvested and reclaimed hardwoods. Master woodworker Jonas Kessler and his team of 6 artisans build each piece to order — from 14-foot live-edge conference tables to floating walnut vanities and hand-turned rocking chairs. We source our timber from certified sustainable forests in Montana and Idaho, and maintain a curated inventory of 200+ air-dried slabs in our showroom for clients to hand-select. Every joint is hand-cut, every surface hand-planed, and every finish is a proprietary plant-based oil blend we developed in-house. Lead times run 8 to 14 weeks. We ship white-glove nationwide and have delivered pieces to homes, restaurants, and offices in 38 states. Commissions start with a free design sketch.
