Extran is an established Australian engineering company specialising in industrial heat transfer and cooling solutions. Based in Victoria, we provide comprehensive thermal engineering design, manufacturing, servicing, and scheduled maintenance for heavy industries across Australia. Our core capabilities handle the complete lifecycles of critical plant infrastructure, beginning with the custom engineering, thermal modelling, and design of new commissions. This includes the production of Shell & Tube heat exchangers, Plate heat exchangers, Air Cooled systems, heavy-duty industrial radiators, and process skids.

In addition to new equipment, we operate a dedicated workshop division for service and refurbishment, handling overhauls, mechanical re-tubing, chemical cleaning, and the overall restoration of older heat transfer equipment to return units to peak operating efficiency. To minimise plant downtime, our field technicians provide onsite maintenance and preventative support, including physical diagnostics, hydro-testing, and rapid-response repairs directly at client facilities.
