Hopkins Icehouse isn’t just the best bar and grill in downtown Texarkana, TX— it’s an institution. In eras past, an ice house was a building used for storing ice. The perfect place to keep beer, right? Men began storing their beer in theice houses and would meet upafter work for a cold one. With electricity came refrigerators, but men were so accustomed to hanging out in ice houses that they started building modern-day structureswhere they could congregate for handmade food and great service.
