Island Welders is a professional welding and metal fabrication shop serving Grand Isle County and Vermont's Lake Champlain region. Founded by Lucas Campbell — who also operates Grand Isle Gophers and Green Mountain Marine Services — Island Welders fills a critical gap in the local market for full-service fabrication.

Unlike typical small shops, Island Welders runs a fully equipped facility at 122 US Route 2 in Grand Isle, with Miller multi-process welders, diesel-powered mobile welders, Hypertherm plasma cutting systems, an ArcDroid CNC plasma cutting table, and a complete in-house paint booth — taking projects from raw steel to finished, coated components without outsourcing.

The focus is practical, structural work: no automotive bodywork or ornamental metalwork. Island Welders serves contractors, marine operators, agricultural businesses, municipalities, and property owners who need durable results. Services include structural steel, aluminum fabrication, repair welding, custom fabrication, and mobile on-site work.
