New Readers Publishers (NRP) is a non-profit publishing project based in the Centre for Adult Education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban.

The aim of the NRP is to make a contribution to an increase in adult literacy and to promote a reading culture by:

* publishing books in African languages
marketing and promoting easy readers at home and abroad
