About Us
From its Raleigh clinic, Triangle ABA coordinates behavioral and developmental services with goals based on individual needs. During BCBA-led training, caregivers discuss ways to support communication and independence with take-home ideas for continued practice. Goal selection is built after considering developmental needs, home expectations, and school-related concerns with room to revise priorities as learning continues. Within clinic-based therapy, direct-care clinicians apply structured teaching with play-based opportunities to strengthen areas such as classroom participation, peer interaction, and self-care. Within the clinical program, documented findings help BCBAs adjust current objectives as new skills emerge. During classroom-preparation programming, clinicians organize structured group activities to address transitions, waiting, and shared activities. The organization’s owner is Amber Nelms, a BCBA with personal experience raising a child on the autism spectrum, and the service model reflects professional and parental insight. In practical terms, the provider organizes individualized clinical work alongside family participation while keeping caregivers involved.
