Who is Eligible for Surrogacy in India?

Surrogacy in India is a way for couples to have a baby when they cannot get pregnant or carry a baby due to health problems. Now it is controlled by a law called the Surrogacy Regulation Act of 2021. This law says who can and who cannot be a part of this process. The law wants to make sure that surrogacy is done in a way that’s fair and safe for everyone. It only allows couples from India who cannot have a baby to try surrogacy. The law also protects the woman who carries the baby by making sure she is not taken advantage of and that she gets the care and legal help she needs.
